Day 2 Scotland Driving Tour - Into the Highlands and Glencoe
The following morning you will start your tours. The first tour takes you into the heart of the western Highlands. The tour starts with a run along the scenic Sterling valley, and into the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, where you will head over the beautiful Duke`s Pass, before taking morning coffees on the quiet Loch of Venacher. From here, you will be heading toward the spectacular Glencoe / Ben Nevis region, the location for many of the shoot scenes for the 007 Skyfall movie, as well as some of the most amazing sights and driver roads in Scotland, sweeping valley and lower mountain passes.
Lunch is taken in the heart of Glencoe, with views across the spectacular mountain ranges. After lunch it is then a drive around Loch Leven, then onto Mallaig, where you will take the ferry to cross to Skye Island, the location for your second evening.

Day 3 - Scotland Driving Tour - The Highlands & Route 500 Coastal Road

Day 4 - Scotland Driving Tour - The Central Highlands & Loch Ness
Your third tour will take you into the heart of the central highlands, where you will be heading to the most famous Loch of them all, Loch Ness. The drive starts with a loop around the scenic Glen Morriston. Rather than following the more touristic western shores of Loch Ness, you will head along less well-trodden eastern trail, and the old General Wades Military Road, which offers spectacular views across Lochness. Here you will stop for lunch at The Dores Inn on the shores of Loch Ness.
After lunch, you then turn the east head into the National Park Cairngorms, and then pick up one of our favorite drives of the tour, following the path of the River Spey, as it winds its way east. Keep your eyes peeled for wild deer, grouse, and other wildlife of this remote region. As you continue east and head into the whiskey-producing region by the same name, with the opportunity to visit the famous Macallan Distillery as you enter the region of Speyside. Keep your eyes peeled for wild deer, grouse, and other wildlife of this remote region. The drive then ends in the small village of Dufftown at the Craigellachie Hotel / Inn, specializing in the finest malts from the region.
Later that afternoon we suggest you make a visit to the Glenfiddich distillery (5mins by cab), for a quick tasting tour, before returning to the Craigellachie and dining in the hotel's charming bar-side restaurants.
Overnight: 4* The Craigellachie, specializing in the finest malts from the region.
Day 5 - Scotland Driving Tour - The Whisky Trail and Carnigorns National Park

The first stage sees us following the whisky trail, past some of the most prestigious whiskey producers in the land, stopping shortly at the Glenlivet distillery for a guided tour. You then continue onto the stunning “old military road” which sweeps south through the Cairngorms National Park, past deserted ski resorts, across lower mountain passes, stop at the Balmoral Castle.
You then continue south through the park, sweeping along stunning valleys where the views are quite simply breathtaking. The tour is completed with a run down into Edinburgh.
Overnight: 4 Star Boutique Dunstane / Edinburgh
