Porsche Driving Tour Germany Black Forest

Our Porsche Driving Tour in the Black Forest allows you to immerse yourself in all things Porsche, combining a two day driving tour in the Porsche of your choice with an individual visit to the stunning Porsche museum in Stuttgart.  After arrival in Stuttgart make your visit to the Porsche Museum and later that day you will take the short hop from the city center to the factory.  The following day you will head out on a 2 day tour of the Black Forest, where you can test your Porsche of choice on some of the most spectacular driver roads in Europe, spending an evening in the spa resort of Baden Baden, before returning to Stuttgart.

Cars available to drive include the new Porsche 992 4S, GT4, Taycan Turbo and Cayenne S Coupe - other (non Porsche) cars are also available on special request.

Please note that the factory museum is not open on Mondays, so in planning, so when planning, avoid a Monday arrival.

Porsche Driving Tour in Germany

Our Porsche Driving Tour in the Black Forest allows you to immerse yourself in all things Porsche, combining a two day driving tour in the Porsche of your choice with an individual visit to the stunning Porsche museum in Stuttgart. 

Day 1 - Arrive Stuttgart and visit the Porsche Museum

Arrive Stuttgart and transfer downtown to your hotel for check in. 50 meters walking from the hotel is the railway station where S-Bahn No. 6 takes you to Zuffenhausen to visit the Porsche Museum (Taxi ca. 15min). After the visit, head back to meet our travel advisor at the hotel to be given a walkthrough of the car, GPS (with the scenic routes programmed) and driving notes. Later that evening our representative will meet you with the roadbook for a tour briefing and the handover of the car.

Day 2 - Drive to Baden Baden through the Mid - and South Black Forest

The following morning you head off on your first scenic tour will take you west from Stuttgart and into the heart of the Black Forest, picking up the spectacular Hochstrasse / Route 500 one of the greatest driving roads in Europe, then turning south towards the beautiful Triberg falls. Lunch is then taken in the heart of the forest at the boutique Hotel Inselklause.

Lunch over, you will then drive a scenic loop around Mount Kandel via a beautiful twisty mountain pass, before journeying north and back to the spa resort of Baden Baden, where you will be based for the evening at the exclusive 4 Star Aqua Aurelia Suite Hotel. A dinner table is reserved for you at the Trendy Rizzis, directly overlooking the beautiful Lichtentaler Allee in the heart of Baden Baden, before heading to Baden's famous Casino for a few spins of the wheel.

Total tour distance: 260KM / 4.5 hours plus stops

Overnight: 5* Roomers Hotel, Baden-Baden OR 4* Aqua Auleria All Suite Hotel where twin rooms required

Day 3 - Return to Stuttgart through the Northern Black Forest

The following morning the second tour will take you on a loop of the Northern Black Forest, here are some of the most scenic Panoramastrasses offering spectacular views across the Rhine valley to the east of the forest.

These are then combined several fast and sweeping forest trails, taking us through near deserted stretches of the deepest forest. After your lunch reservation at the 5* Hotel Traub Tonbach, there is a short final loop in the northern forest, before heading directly back to the hotel, where the car will be collected at around 18:30 that evening.  Spend a second evening in Stuttgart.

Total tour distance: 250KM / 4.5 hours plus stops.

Day 4 - Final day in Stuttgart

Spend a final morning in Stuttgart, take a walk along to the Schlosspark, or maybe take the tram ride out to Motorworld in Stuttgart
 

Porsche Driving Tour Itinerary

Friday, 30th August 2013 - Arrive Stuttgart and visit the Porsche Museum
At the start of the Porsche Driving Tour, you will arrive Stuttgart airport and transfer to the 5* Hotel Althoff am Schlossgarten, downtown Stuttgart. After a welcome apero, later that afternoon you will be transferred across to the Porsche Museum at Zuffenhausen. This year is a special one for the Porsche 911 celebrating the 50th anniversary of this iconic sports car (since 1963 more then 800 000 911's have been produced). The museum therefore has a variety of exhibitions dedicated to the 911. Later our shuttle bus will bring you back to the hotel, where you will be met by our Ultimate Drives Concierges who will provide you with a full walk through of the driving tour, handover the driving notes, maps and itinerary and answer any questions you might have.

Saturday, 31st August 2013 - Drive to Baden Baden through the Mid - and South Black Forest
Our Porsche 911's will be delivered to the hotel early the morning, then after a walk through of controls and navigation unit, we will then be on your way with our convoy of Porsches and enjoy yourself on a scenic drive. Our first scenic tour will take us west from Stuttgart and into the heart of the Black Forest, picking up the spectacular Hochalpstrasse / Route 500 one of the greatest driving roads in Europe, then turning south towards the beautiful Triberg falls. Lunch is then taken in the heart of the forest at the boutique Hotel Inselkluas. Lunch over, we will then drive a scenic loop around Mount Kandel (tight and twisty mountain pass) the second highest peak in the forest, before journeying north and back to the spa resort of Baden Baden, wheer we will be based for the evening at the exclusive 5 Star Belle Epoque Hotel. That evening the group will dine out at the Trendy Rizzis, directly overlooking the beautiful Lichtentaler Allee in the heart of Baden Baden, before heading to Baden's famous Casino for a few spins of the wheel.

Total tour distance: 220KM / 4.5 hours plus stops
Overnight: 5* Belle Epoque Hotel, Baden-Baden

Sunday, 1st September 2013 - Return to Stuttgart through the Northern Black Forest
The following morning the second tour will take us on a loop of the northen Black Forest, here are some of the most scenic Panoramastrasses offering spectacular views across the Rhine valley to the east of the forest. These are then combined several fast and sweeping forest trails, taking us through near deserted stretches of the deepest forest. The group will then continue along tothe 5* Hotel Traub Tonbach where lunch will be taken. After lunch, there is a short final loop in the northern forest, before heading directly back to the Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport, where the tour will finish at approximately 16:00hrs.

Total tour distance: 180KM / 4 hours plus stops.
