German & Austrian Alps Road Trip
Our Germany & Austrian Alps Road Trip takes you on a journey through the lakes, mountain passes, and historic cities of southern Germany and the beautiful Austrian Alps, including driving the iconic Grossglockner Mountain Pass
This 5-night trip starts in Munich and includes 4 full days of driving. Along the way, you will spend an evening in the city of Salzburg, and get the opportunity to visit the Red Bull museum, Hanger 7. En route back to Munich, you will also stop at the most romantic and famous castle probably in the world, the Neuschwanenstein castle where you will enjoy a tour before you drive back to Munich after lunch. It's our opinion that the Austrians build the most "driver" friendly roads anywhere in Europe - beautifully cambered bends, glass-smooth tarmac, and a system of tolls through the many of the national parks and passes that help dramatically reduces the amount of traffic - a real drivers paradise. In short, this tour is a driver’s paradise!
