Supercar Test Event in the Black Forest

When it comes to Supercars, the Black Forest has a reputation for offering some of the finest driving roads in Europe - super smooth German Tarmac that ribbons across lower mountain passes and along sweeping forest trails.

For this fully guided driving event in April, we will bring together 6 cars and enjoy two full days of driving in the Black Forest.  Starting in Zurich, drive 1 we head north through the forest to the spa resort of Baden Baden for an evening.  The next day we loop back to Zurich once again through the forest, but also featuring an amazing stretch of de-restricted German Autobahn.  On each drive, we stop in the heart of the forest to enjoy a typical Bavarian lunch.  In total, the tour is 600 km, and along the way, we visit the highest mountain in the forest, the highest waterfall in Germany, and one of the best wineries in southern Germany on the sunny western slopes of the forest.

SOLD OUT - Black Forest Supercar Rally, Germany

Day 1 (10/4) - Arrive in Zurich / Spa Time

Arrive in Zurich and check in to the hotel. Take a 10 minute stroll into the heart of downtown, and spend the afternoon exploring the cafes and boutiques of Zurich's old town, or take a stroll along the world-famous Bahnhofstrasse. You can also take some time to enjoy the hotel's rooftop spa and pool with lovely views of the nearby mountain of Uetliberg. Later that evening at 18:00, the group will meet up for a welcome drink and tour briefing. Some car handovers will take place after the briefing, and others will occur the next morning. For those interested in partaking in a group dinner, we will book a table at the restaurant Zeughauskeller in the city, a typical Swiss/beer hall-style restaurant.

Overnight Hotel: B2 Hotel & Spa, Zurich

Day 2 (11/4) - North to Baden Baden via the Glacial Lakes

The group will meet in the hotel lobby at 08:00, and the final car walk-throughs will be completed before hitting the road at 09:00. Our Ultimate Drives Team Member will guide you in the lead car to the Rhine (the natural border between Switzerland and Germany) where you'll cross the border at the beautiful village of Kaisersthul. We'll burst Black Forest up one of the sweeping lower mountain passes, then down to the beautiful Lake Schulesee where we will stop up for our first break of the day. After coffee, we'll continue driving deeper into the forest around Mount Feldberg, the highest peak in the forest, and then to the town of Triberg.

At Triberg, we will stop to visit the Triberg Falls, the highest waterfalls in Germany, which cascade down to the village some 300 m below. From here, we'll guide you back into Black Forest along several panoramic straßen before stopping to enjoy a traditional Black Forest lunch. Afterward, we'll complete our tour to Baden Baden by picking up Route 500 / The Schwarzwald Hochstrasse - probably the greatest "drivers" road in the Black Forest, set high above the forest with views down to the Rhine Valley; it's the perfect way to finish the drive.

After arriving in Baden Baden and checking into the hotel, everyone is free to do as they please. We suggest visiting the Caracalla Therme spa nearby, with some of the best thermal spas in Europe, and the perfect place to relax for a few hours before dinner. That evening, we will meet as a group at the hotel's rooftop bar before heading into town and dining at the trendy Rizzi restaurant. For any night owls, there is also a Casino in the town.

Overnight Hotel: 5 Star Roomers, Baden Baden

Day 3 (12/4) - South to Zurich via Mount Kandel and Schauinsland Ski Areas

The return drive back to Zurich will take you along the western extremes of the Black Forest, where we will drive up and over two of the most beautiful mountains in Germany's Black Forest region: Mount Kandel and Mount Belchen. Each mountain rises to more than 1300 m and offers stunning panoramas of the surrounding forest. After lunch, we will continue towards the Rhine, passing through the villages of Todmoos and Todtnau, and skirting the edge of Mount Hochkopf. The drive to the border is along the Wehr River Valley, which was carved out during the ice age, and has gorge-like rock formations on either side. Roll the window down because the sounds of the car engines reverberating off these walls will give you chills!

At the border, we'll stop at the beautiful village of Bad Sacklingen where you can visit the famous Holz Brucke, the longest-covered wooden footbridge in Europe, for drinks and sightseeing before completing the tour back to Zurich. That evening we will host the group for a gala dinner at the Terrasse restaurant, located adjacent to the Limmat River and Lake Zurich, and reflect on the last two days of our driving adventure.

Day 4 (13/4) - Final Day in Zurich

Spend the last day taking in the sights and attractions of Zurich and visit, on either side of the Limmat River, the world-famous shopping street, Bahnhofstrasse. Browse its collection of designer stores, then head down to the chilled-out shores of Lake Zurich, where you can have a coffee at one of the lakeside cafes with views all the way down to the Alps on a sunny day.

Package Includes: 2 guided driving tours, 3 nights of high-end accommodation with breakfasts included, and a welcome apéro on arrival. Price is per person, based on twin room accommodation and two drivers in each car.  Supplement per person for staying in a separate room, 3 nights is 700EUR per person

Not Included: Lunches and evening dinners are ordered and paid a la carte. Fuel is paid individually based on actual consumption.

Booking & Deposit: If you are interested in joining this group event, we require an initial holding deposit of 30% per car entry to secure your spot. As soon as the minimum number of entrants (5 cars) is confirmed for the trip, your final confirmation will be issued. The complete balance will be due 6 weeks before the start date of the event. In the unlikely situation that the rally is not fully subscribed, any holding deposit will be fully refunded.
