This tour traces a spectacular self-drive journey from the heart…

This tour traces a spectacular self-drive journey from the heart of the Alps to the Mediterranean coast, connecting some of France’s most dramatic and diverse landscapes along the way. Beginning in Geneva, the route leads south through the towering peaks surrounding Mont Blanc, across alpine passes and lakeside roads near Annecy, and into the quieter mountain regions of the Rhône Alps. As the scenery shifts, the journey continues through Provence, where vineyard-lined roads, lavender country, and iconic climbs like Mont Ventoux create a striking contrast to the high Alps.

From there, the tour descends into the raw natural beauty of the Gorges du Verdon before following the historic Route Napoleon toward the coast. The final drive brings you along the French Riviera, passing through Nice and the cliffside village of Eze before arriving in Monaco, where part of the Formula 1 circuit marks the journey’s conclusion. Carefully selected château hotels, countryside retreats, and luxury coastal accommodations anchor each day, while curated routes and an in-depth eRoadbook ensure every drive highlights the best roads and scenery of the region.
