Lake Geneva and Swiss Alps Driving Tour
Our Lake Geneva and Swiss Alps Driving Tour takes you on a 2-day driving tour that combines the most scenic stretches of Lake Geneva, with the sweeping mountain passes and glaciers of the Berner Oberland region, famous for ski resorts such as Gstaad
This 3-night trip starts in Geneva and includes two full days of driving. The first tour takes you along the shores of Lake Geneva, along the Valle d'Joux (Valley of watches) then through the wonderful vineyards of Lavaux, where the wine terraces date back to Roman times. From here, continue into the heart of the Berner Oberland mountains, visit the medieval town of Gruyere, cross the Jaun Pass, then down to the Gstaad region for the night. The second drive takes you on a loop of the best driving roads in the Berner Oberland Alps, including a visit to the famous Glacier 3000, where you can ski (or sled) even through the summer, as well as the scenic Col de Brouis. Continue back to Geneva, making a visit to Agile Castle (home of the wine-producing region) and Chateaux Chillion, quite probably the most iconic sight on this amazing lake. If you want to combine the lake and mountains in this most beautiful part of Switzerland, our Lake Geneva and Swiss Alps Driving Tour will be the perfect tour for you.
