Terms & Conditions (2026 Edition)

By booking a tour with Ultimate Drives, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure clarity regarding the rights, responsibilities, and expectations of both parties throughout your tour experience.
1. Bookings & Payments
- A 40% deposit is required to secure your booking.
- The remaining balance is due six weeks (42 days) prior to the tour start date.
- For bookings made less than six weeks before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
- Payments must be made via bank transfer or credit card in EUR or GBP, as specified in your proposal.
2. What’s Included
Unless otherwise stated in your personalized proposal, your tour package includes:
- Detailed eRoadbook, including maps, route notes, and dining/hotel recommendations
- Hotel accommodation, including daily breakfast (typically 4- or 5-star)
- Supercar rental as outlined in your proposal
- Pre-tour video walkthrough briefing (accessed via the eRoadbook)
- Airport pick-up transfer on arrival day, where specified
- 24/7 remote support throughout the tour
3. Not Included
The following items are not included unless expressly stated in your proposal:
- Flights or transportation to/from the tour start and end points
- Fuel, tolls, parking, or congestion charges
- Meals (unless included in your itinerary)
- Personal travel insurance
- Optional excursions or activities not listed in the confirmed itinerary
4. Driver Requirements
- Minimum driver age is 21; certain vehicles require a minimum age of 25 or 28
- A full, valid driving licence held for at least two years is required
- Drivers must have no major driving convictions
- An International Driving Permit (IDP) may be required depending on country of origin and destination
- A credit card pre-authorization of €3,500–€15,000 is required approximately 48 hours before rental, depending on vehicle and location
- This is a pre-authorization only and not a charge
Specific requirements and deposit amounts will be clearly detailed in your proposal.
5. Vehicle Use & Substitutions
- All vehicles include insurance and mileage allowances as stated in your proposal
- Vehicles must be returned in the same condition as received
- In the event of mechanical failure or unforeseen circumstances, Ultimate Drives will make every effort to provide a replacement vehicle of similar class or specification
- An identical replacement model cannot be guaranteed
- Any traffic fines, damage excess, or misuse charges are the responsibility of the customer and may be deducted from the security deposit
6. Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering, at a minimum:
- Trip cancellation or curtailment
- Illness, hospitalization, or medical repatriation
- Personal accident or injury
- Vehicle rental excess protection
We also recommend paying by credit card, as some providers offer additional travel-related protections. Please consult your card issuer for details.
7. Cancellations
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. While deposits are non-refundable, Ultimate Drives understands that circumstances beyond your control may arise. At our discretion, and where possible, payments made may be retained as a credit toward a future tour, less any non-recoverable costs incurred at the time of cancellation.
8. Force Majeure
Ultimate Drives is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, etc.)
- Pandemic or epidemic outbreaks
- War, civil unrest, strikes, or industrial action
- Government or regulatory restrictions
- Road closures, severe weather, or vehicle breakdowns
Where possible, we will offer suitable alternatives, defer your booking, or provide credit toward a future tour.
9. Changes by the Customer
Minor amendments (such as hotel upgrades or date adjustments) may be requested up to 21 days before departure, subject to availability. Additional charges may apply.
10. Changes by Ultimate Drives
We reserve the right to make minor itinerary or vehicle allocation adjustments when necessary. In the event of a significant change, we will contact you promptly to discuss suitable alternatives.
11. Complaints & Disputes
If an issue arises during your tour, please notify us immediately so it can be addressed on the spot.
Unresolved complaints must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of tour completion.
We aim to respond within 14 days.
12. Liability
Ultimate Drives acts as an agent for third-party accommodation and vehicle providers and cannot accept responsibility for their acts or omissions.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
Participation in driving activities involves inherent risk, which customers accept upon booking.
13. Financial Protection
Ultimate Drives operates under Swiss law and is based in Switzerland. Swiss regulations do not require participation in a financial protection scheme; however, we maintain internal safeguards and strongly recommend personal insurance coverage.
14. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zürich, Switzerland.
15. Privacy & Data Protection
Personal data is collected solely for the delivery of your tour and shared only with relevant accommodation or vehicle providers. Full details are available in our Privacy Policy.
