Barcelona & The Pyrenees Driving Tour
Barcelona is one of the most exciting cities to visit in all of Europe. From its top-tier La Liga football team FC Barcelona, to its many Michelin Star restaurants, and from its wild architecture to to is sparkling beaches, there is SO much to see. Then throw into the mix, the incredible coastal roads of the Costa Brava, and the spectacular Catalan Pyrenees just beyond the city and it really has it all. If you want to immerse yourself in Eastern Spain's rich culture in style, this tour is for you!
The tour starts on Barcelona's Diagonal Avenue, where the first hotel is located within a 5-minute walk of FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou Stadium. You'll also be very close to the metro station, giving you easy access to all the tourist attractions of Barcelona while being out of the way of the crowds. Once your car is delivered on the first morning, you'll head directly to the most scenic coastal driving roads Costa Brava (and maybe all of Europe) has to offer. The next two days are filled with Pyrenees exploration, including many mountain passes, stunning blue reservoirs, the famous Pyrenees Axis Road, and the tiny secluded country of Andorra. A final highlight on the way back to Barcelona is the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, a still functioning monastery perched high in the mountains outside of Barcelona.

Day 2 - Drive 1: The Costa Brava Coast
Your car will be delivered to the hotel in the morning, and you'll be ready to officially start your driving tour. After a quick blast up the highway to get up and away from the city, you'll find your first twisty road through the forested lower Pyrenees. Shortly after, you'll find yourself on the coast for some of the most scenic driving in the whole country. Head through the beautiful regional park Massis de Cadiretes, where the coastal drive is nearly deserted, with several stunning vantage points to enjoy along the way. Lunch is then taken at Spain's most eastern point - the Far del Cap de Creus lighthouse - offering uninterrupted views of the Med. After lunch, turn inland, then head up to one of the most beautiful and tranquil 5-star resorts on the Costa Brava, Hotel Peralada, where you can enjoy some well-earned spa time, or even head out for an evening half round of golf on the championship course.

Day 3 - Drive 2: Pyrenees Passes to Andorra
The thrilling mountain driving begins almost immediately after leaving the hotel for drive 2. The road climbs and turns its way deeper into the Pyrenees, showcasing mountain pass after mountain pass and view after view as you work towards Andorra. Col d'Ares, Coll de la Merolla, Coll de la Creueta, a bit of the N-260 nicknamed the Pyrenees Axis, Coll de Pimorent, and Coll de Envalira fill this day with racetrack-like thrills and jaw-dropping scenery. Eventually, you'll be deposited directly into the Andorran ski resort where you'll stay the night.

Day 4 - Drive 3: Through the Mountains to Barcelona
With eager sights set on the exciting city of Barcelona, this final drive starts by following the La Valera River south out of Andorra. Regarded as one of the best driving roads and hidden gems in all of Spain, Coll de Port awaits you just across the border. After a few more passes and 2 bright blue reservoirs, you'll hop on the highway toward Barcelona with one final diversion - the beautiful Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey high in the mountains overlooking Barcelona.
