Supercar Test Event in the Dolomites

For 2024 we are super excited to feature our first test event in the wonderful Dolomites mountain range in Italy where you will experience some of the best mountain roads in Europe, topped off with incomparable views of this stunning and unique mountain range. 

For this fully guided event in May, we will start from Venice and enjoy 3 full days of driving, beginning with the gorgeous springtime fields of colorful wildflowers near Passo Rolle.  From here, head to the iconic Passo Giau where you'll catch a glimpse of the highest peak in the Dolomites, Marmolada, on our way to the "Pearl of the Dolomites", Cortina d'Ampezzo. The second drive takes us along the Great Dolomites Road, or Grande Strada Delle Dolomiti, to Adamello Brenta Natural Park. The final tour runs through Valvestino Pass to Lake Garda and then back to Venice where we finish with a VIP gala dinner.  With 6 cars to test over 3 days, you get a half day behind the wheel of each car, and at the end, we will have Top Gear-style scoring plus an awards ceremony. Each day of driving has its own unique charms and roads, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in this incredible region of northern Italy.

Supercar Test Event in the Italian Dolomites

Day 1 (12/6) - Arrive in Venice

Travel to the hotel where we will enjoy some welcome drinks and briefings, providing you with everything you need to know for the journey ahead. The hotel is just 10 minutes north of the Island of Venice, allowing a smooth exit with the cars the following morning.

Overnight Hotel: 5-Star Relais & Chateaux Villa Franceschi

Day 2 (13/6) - Drive to Cortina d'Ampezzo via Passo Rolle and Passo Giau

In the morning, cars will be delivered and everyone will get a walk-through by our team before we begin the first drive. We'll start with Passo Rolle and iconic Passo Giau, where you'll get great views of the highest peak in the Dolomites, Marmolada. We'll then make our way to the "Pearl of the Dolomites", Cortina d'Ampezzo. In the evening, the 5-Star Faloria Mountain Spa Resort awaits with their amazing spa, pulling in the atmosphere of the surrounding forest and mountains for ultimate relaxation after day one of driving. Faloria also boasts an incredible dining scene in their restaurant, which overlooks the alpine landscape, and has a chef with experience in Michelin-starred restaurants.

Day 3 (14/6) - Great Dolomites Road to Adamello Brenta Natural Park

On Day 3, we launch toward the Great Dolomites Road to Adamello Brenta Natural Park. This stretch is one of our favorites, and that's saying quite a lot considering all of the amazing roads we've scouted over the last decade! We'll stop for lunch at Seceda Ridge along the way, taking the cable car up 2500 m to Restaurant Seceda, the highest in Val Gardena. We recommend ending the day looking out over the peaks at the resort's sky lounge with a drink in hand. Arrange for a spa treatment to level-up the luxury even more!

Overnight Hotel: 5-Star Lefay Resort & Spa Dolomiti

Day 4 (15/6) - Valvestino to Lake Garda

Our final driving day takes off from Lefay and runs through Valvestino to Lake Garda. Lunch is planned for Lefay Garda, and then we'll continue our drive around the lake to properly take in all of the beautiful views. We simply can't wait to put the top down to breathe in the spring alpine air! Finally, we continue back to Venice where the tour will end. The group will join up for a VIP gala dinner in Venice to reminisce on the trip and discuss which cars and sights were our favorites.

Day 5 (16/6) – Departures

Spend a final day in Venice and make time for some Venetian sightseeing! Perhaps hop on a gondola or visit St. Mark's Basilica. When you're feeling hungry, take a walk for some Venetian street food and start thinking about where you want your next Ultimate Drive to be!

OTHER INFORMATION

Package Includes: Welcome apéro on arrival to toast to the adventure ahead, 4 nights of luxury accommodation (including breakfasts), 3 guided driving tour days, a lead car with a tour guide plus a support assistant taking care of the group throughout, insurance to drive all cars on the event with a reduced franchise deposit of €10000 per couple, and a gala dinner at the end of the event in Venice. If you prefer to stay in separate rooms, there is a supplement of €1100 per person for the 5 nights.

Not Included: Lunches and dinners except for the final gala night dinner, and fuel is paid at the end of the event based on a share of the actual consumption.

Booking & Deposit: If you are interested in joining this guided group tour, please use the inquiry form to register your interest. Once confirmed, we ask for an initial holding deposit of 30% per car entry to secure your seat. As soon as the minimum number of entrants (4 cars) are confirmed for the trip, your final confirmation will be issued with the balance due 6 weeks before the date of the event. In the unlikely situation that the event is not fully subscribed, any holding deposit will be fully refunded.
