Porsche European Delivery - Black Forest & Stelvio

Arrival into Stuttgart

Arrive into Stuttgart and get settled in to your first hotel (provided by Porsche), and we will join you via video call for a tour briefing to review the road book and the specialty navigation links to your pre-planned stops for sights, coffees, lunch and more.

Overnight Hotel: Porsche-Provided Accommodations

Day 1 - Porsche European Delivery

Collect your new Porsche, visit the Porsche Factory, and soak up the entire Porsche Stuttgart experience. Then, we recommend simply plugging the Roomers Baden-Baden hotel into your GPS and drive direct (which should take just over an hour). The Roomers Baden-Baden hotel awaits with an outdoor pool and a bar with a terrace on the rooftop. Also enjoy the spa facilities and gym with views of the Black Forest.

Day 2 - Drive 1: Through the Black Forest to Zurich

Your tour will start the following morning through the heart of the Black Forest. Enjoy the panoramic Hochstrasse / Route 500 as it winds through small ski resorts, around glacial lakes, and across lower mountain passes. After lunch, continue through the Black Forest before crossing the Rhine into Switzerland. Spend that evening in the compact, international city of Zurich. Have a pleasant evening with a lakeside stroll and a meal out in the beautiful old town, set on either side of the Limmat river.

Day 3 - Drive 2: Lake Luzern and the Central Swiss Alps

After your evening in Zurich, the tour continues the next morning around Lake Luzern, where you will stop for morning coffees at the small lakeside town of Vitznau. You'll then travel to the central Swiss Alps, through the ski resort of Andermatt, before crossing three wonderful mountain passes, towards the Graubunden region of the Swiss Alps and the spectacular Albula Pass. Finally, you'll head down the Engadin Valley to the jet set ski region of St. Moritz for the evening. Enjoy the hotel's world-class spa, perfect to relax after a fun day behind the wheel of your car, as well as an acclaimed Michelin star restaurant.

Day 4 - Drive 3: Swiss National Park & Stelvio National Park

The next day you can spend at leisure in St. Moritz and your luxury hotel, or take a scenic loop over the border into Italy to visit Stelvio National Park. On this loop you get to drive along the scenic Engadin Valley, past castles and wonderful hilltop villages on the way to the famous Stelvio Pass. Also included is the Offen Pass, which cuts its way through the heart of the Swiss National Park and is probably our favorite pass in the Swiss Alps. After the loop is completed, return back to your hotel in the Swiss Alps for a second evening.

Day 5 - Drive 4: Into Austria & the Kaunertal Glacier Road

From St. Moritz, the journey then continues towards Austria. The first stage of the tour will take you through more of the Engadin Valley, a wonderful sweeping route with diversions to the Castle of Tarasp, and the sleepy village of Tischlin before crossing into Austria. This drive includes the incredible Kaunertal Glacier road, 40 km of pure driving pleasure as you climb to 2700 m for lunch by the glacier. Finish with a run up to the Austrian ski resort of Seefeld where you will be based for your next evening.

Day 6 - Drive 5: Austrian Voralberg, Neuschwanstein and the Autobahn

For your final scenic drive, you will head directly onto the scenic German Alpine Road, one of the most beautiful alpine roads that dissects the German and Austrian Alps. See the stunning Neuschwanstein castle as you make your way east to Lake Constance, the largest lake in western Europe. Pick up the lakeside road all the way to the town of Konstanz on the western tip of the lake. Here you will spend your final evening beside the lake at one of the most elegant lakeside 5 stars in all of Germany.

Day 7 - Drive 6: Autobahn back to Stuttgart

At just over two hours, this is an easy direct drive, but that doesn't mean it's not exciting! Between Konstanz and Stuttgart, the autobahn is largely de-restricted, so (safely) set your new PR and stretch your new Porsche's legs! You can also choose to visit the Porsche Museum on your final day in Germany before returning your car back to Porsche.
