One of the most exciting drop-off locations available from Porsche is Nice in the sunny South of France. This allows you to plan your driving tour starting in the north of Europe, and then arriving at the Cote d'Azur in the South, where your car will be collected.

This particular Porsche European Delivery option takes you on a journey, North to South, where you will not only cross countries' borders but see changes in landscapes, cultures, cuisine, and weather. The tour starts by making the short drive from Stuttgart to the spa town of Baden Baden. From here, you will drive south through the Black Forest to Switzerland, journey through the heart of the Swiss Alps, visit the spectacular Jungfrau Mountain, and continue to the lakeside city of Geneva before crossing into France. Following the Rhone valley south, cruise along wine routes and the Rhone Alps until you arrive into Provence. After a couple of evenings to chill in this charming region, continue your journey southeast, through the spectacular National Park Verdon, and into the jet-set seaside resort of Cannes. Drop your car at Nice airport, and we encourage you to spend a few extra nights just chilling and enjoying the Mediterranean vibe before flying home.

Porsche European Delivery - Road Trip to the Med

Arrival into Stuttgart

Arrive into Stuttgart and get settled in to your first hotel (provided by Porsche), and we will join you via video call for a tour briefing to review the road book and the specialty navigation links to your pre-planned stops for sights, coffees, lunch and more.

Overnight Hotel: Porsche-Provided Accommodations

Day 1 - Porsche European Delivery

Collect your new Porsche, visit the Porsche Factory, and soak up the entire Porsche Stuttgart experience. Then, we recommend simply plugging the Roomers Baden-Baden hotel into your GPS and drive direct (which should take just over an hour). The Roomers Baden-Baden hotel awaits with an outdoor pool and a bar with a terrace on the rooftop. Also enjoy the spa facilities and gym with views of the Black Forest.

Day 2 - Drive 1: Scenic Drive through the Black Forest

Start the day with a scenic drive south through the heart of the Black Forest, featuring the legendary B500, Hochalpenstrasse, and a visit to the highest waterfalls in Germany before crossing the Rhine into Switzerland and the city of Zurich. The forest was named such by the Romans due to its density of forestation and is still is an incredible sight in modern-day western Europe.

Day 3 - Drive 2: Tour to the Central Swiss Alps

Tour south from Zurich along the scenic shoreline of Lake Luzern, stopping for some morning coffee. Continue across the high mountain passes of the central Swiss Alps, then up to the ski resort of Grindelwald, set directly below the Eiger and Jungfrau Massifs.

Day 4 - Chill Day in the Swiss Alps, Visit the Jungfrau

Take the train to the "Top of Europe" and enjoy spectacular views of the Alps. We encourage you to take advantage of the hotel's spa as well.

Day 5 - Drive 3: Tour to Lake Geneva

Head into the beautiful Berner Oberland region of Switzerland, visit a chocolate factory, and then continue to the beautiful village of Gruyers to see the castle and taste the cheeses. Later, follow the shoreline of Lake Geneva to the city for a night.

Day 6 - Drive 4: Tour through the Rhone Valley with 3-Star Michelin Dinner

Exit Geneva, cross into France, and journey south through two regional parks, known collectively as the Rhone Alps, where you will drive a series of beautiful mountain passes. Have lunch in the Alps, and then follow the Rhone Valley south to the town of Valence. Stay overnight at Maison Pic, where you can dine at the legendary 3-star Michelin restaurant with Anne Sofie Pic as your host.

Day 7 - Drive 5: Tour into the Luberon Valley / Provence

Continue south along the Rhone Valley, with the chance to drive across the legendary Mount Ventoux, one of the most famous riding stages of the Tour de France. Head into the heart of the Luberon Valley to spend two evenings at France's "Luxury Resort Hotel of the Year 2022" La Coquillade Village. Day 8 - Chill Day in Provence with Wine Tastings

Have a relaxing down day at the hotel, enjoy the spa, have a wine tasting, and drive ~15 minutes to the beautiful village of Gurdes.

Day 9 - Drive 6: National Park Verdon to Cannes

Head east through the Luberon Valley and directly into the National Park Verdon, home to not only the Gorge Verdon (referred to as the French Grand Canyon) but also some of the most beautiful medieval villages in France, including Moustairs Sainte Marie. After lunch in Moustairs, follow the legendary Route Napoleon (the path Napoleon followed when returning to Paris after his exile) down to the coast, and home of the annual Cannes Film Festival, Cannes. Check into the hotel and take part in some Mediterranean relaxation time directly on the famous Boulevard Croisette. The hotel has its own private beach bar and restaurant for you to enjoy.

Day 10 - Car Drop-Off at Nice Airport - Option to Extend Stay on the Cote d'Azur

It's a 20-minute drive to the Porsche European Delivery drop-off point at Nice airport. You can drop off the car, jump in a taxi back to Cannes, and spend a few more nights enjoying the sun and sea, or just take your onward flight out of Nice. Options can be discussed as part of the detailed planning of your trip.
