Geneva to Monte Carlo Luxury Driving Tour

A 5-night fully-curated trip that takes you on a luxury driving tour south through the heart of Europe. Starting in the cosmopolitan city of Geneva overlooking the lake, you will head south through the Alps, the Rhone Valley, and Provence, ending in the sunny Cote d'Azur by the sea. The tour starts with a run through the Rhone-Alps over wonderful high mountain passes, then along to the gourmet region of Valence. Here you will make an overnight at Mason Pic, where the legendary 3-Star Michelin Maison Pic restaurant is located - book early to ensure a table! You then continue south, along the Rhone Valley, and into Provence, crossing Mount Ventoux (one of the most famous stages of the Tour de France) and arriving into the Luberon region. After an evening in the heart of Luberon, the journey continues through the heart of the National Park Verdon / Gorge Verdon, along Route Napoleon, then down to the jet-set resort of Monte Carlo on the sunny Cote d'Azur. Complete a few laps of the F1 circuit, then spend your final evening in the jet set Principality.

Geneva to Monte Carlo Luxury Driving Tour

Day 1 - Arrive in Geneva 

Fly into Geneva International Airport for your limo pick-up and transfer into the city of Geneva. On your first evening, you will stay at the recently-renovated Beau Rivage within a 2 minute walk of the lake, and a 10 minute stroll up to the town. Take time to explore the beautiful city of Geneva and visit some of the wonderful shops and museums, including the world-famous Patek Philippe Museum.

Day 2 - Tour through the Rhone-Alps

In the morning, you will be met at your hotel for a briefing on the driving tours, and of course, a walk-through of your car and navigation - featuring all the best driving roads and pre-planned stops. You are now ready to hit the road in style! Day 2 will take you from Geneva, around Lake Annecy, and into the regional Parcs of Chartreuse and Vercors where you will drive a series of often-deserted sweeping Rhone-Alps mountain passes. You will stop in the heart of the Parcs for lunch before continuing to the city of Valence, where you will spend the evening at the acclaimed Maison Pic with its 3 Michelin star chef.

Day 3 - Mont Ventoux & Luberon Valley

Day 3 will then take you from the Rhone Valley into the heart of Provence, where you will head directly to the most famous mountain in Provence, and probably the most famous mountain climb in the Tour de France, Mont Ventoux. Drive to the summit and back down, having lunch in the rolling hills beside a fine vineyard. After lunch, drive a loop of the wonderful Luberon Valley, stopping at the most famous town in Luberon, Gordes, before finally heading to the beautiful La Coquillade village for the evening.

Day 4 - time at leisure in the Luberon Valley / Wine tasting 

Spend the day at leisure at the beautiful La Coquilade Village. Enjoy the world-class spa and then later, a wine tasting will be arranged at the hotel's very own winery. It's also possible to make a short drive to the beautiful village of Gourdes, either during the day or in the evening for dinner.

Day 5 - Gorge Verdon & Route Napoleon

The final drive takes you through the sweeping Luberon Valley to the edge of the National Parc Verdon and the incredible Lac de Croix. From here, head directly onto the spectacular Gorge Verdon following our designed route (which is faster, has more sweeps, and less traffic) deeper into the National Parc to a small village on Route Napoleon for lunch. The final stretch of the drive is one of the best in France, the incredible Route Napoleon, which you will follow as it sweeps its way down to the coast, then to Monte Carlo where the tour ends.

Day 6 - Day at Leisure in Monaco

Spend a final day at leisure in Monaco before your personal onward plans.
