Ferrari Drive in Italy
Our Valley of Supercars tour combines a visit to this iconic car-producing region of central Italy, where the greatest supercars are designed and built, with two days driving the sweeping roads of Tuscany behind the wheel the Ferrari (or Lamborghini) of your choice. The Ultimate Ferrari drive!
Your driving tour starts and ends in the beautiful city of Florence. After a night in the city, you will receive your car handover at your hotel, together with a briefing on the driving routes and GPS and roadbook you will follow when making the tour. Your first tour takes you north from Florence, direction Modena, following the path of the famous Route Mille Miglia, where you will make a visit to the Lamborghini, and then the Enzo Ferrari museums. Next, take the short drive across to Maranello, the home of Ferrari for an overnight. The following morning, start the day with a visit to the Ferrari Museum in Maranello, before starting your second scenic drive back to Florence, through the rolling hills behind Maranello where Ferrari tests its road cars. Finally, loop around the beautiful Monte Cimone, then through the Tuscan hills back to Florence for your final evening.
If you are a Ferrari fan, make your Ferrari drive in the Ferrari Portofino, Ferrari Roma, Ferrari F8 Spider, or even the V12 Ferrari 812 GTS
If you are a Lamborghini fan, choose between a Huracan Performante Spider, the new Evo Spider, or even the fire-spitting V12 Aventador
Ferrari Drive in Italy - Tour Itinerary
Day 1 - Arrivals into Florence
Head to Florence airport, and make the short 20min transfer by taxi across to the historic city for the evening. The Palazzo Castri is just a short walk from the historic center, so take the afternoon to explore by foot this amazing city.
Overnight Hotel: 4* Superior Palazzo Castri Room type: Superior Room
Day 2 - Ferrari Drive - Route Mille Miglia + Enzo Ferrari Museum
The following morning, your car will be delivered directly to the hotel, for a full briefing and walkthrough. The briefing covers both the car, and the driving route / GPS / roadbook that will navigate you on your way. You are all ready to hit the road.
For your first drive you will then head north from Florence, and pick up the path of the famous Route Mille Miglia, through the rolling hills of Tuscany. Your first stop will be at the race circuit in Mugello, home circuit to the biking legend Valentino Rossi - if you are lucky enough there might be a test day or even race meeting.
Now continue north, crossing the scenic Futa Pass, one of the iconic stages of the legendary Mille Miglia race. The tour then finishes with a loop around Bologna, towards Modena, where you will make a stop at the Lamborghini HQ and factory museum (factory tours on request).
Now continue to Modena, for a visit to the incredible Enzo Ferrari Museum.
Next, it's time to head to Pagani - whilst a full factory tour requires around 90mins and would be very tight on the schedule, it is possible to visit the factory museum, which in itself is an incredible experience
Visit over, take the 25min drive south west to Maranello, where you will be based for the evening at the Locanda La Gazzella, just a few minutes from the main Ferrari factory museum.
Overnight Hotel: Locanda La Gazzella
Room type: Superior room
Day 3 - Ferrari Drive - Monte Cimone + Ferrari Factory Museum
For your second Ferrari drive tour the day will start with a visit to the incredible Ferrari Museum, where the history of this brand is showcased, but in terms of historical cars, current production models and of course the F1 experience. After the visit is over, strap up, as you will now head into the rolling hills of Emilia-Romagna, where Ferrari puts it's road cars through their paces as part of their own road tests. Take lunch at a wonderful and authentic trattoria overlooking the wineries of the region.
After lunch, continue your journey south, first heading around the scenic Monte Cimone,, before re-joining the route Mille Miglia, as it sweeps south, and back to Florence where you will spend a final evening.
Overnight Hotel: 4* Superior Palazzo Castri Room type: Superior Room
Day 4 - At leisure in Florence, later departures
Spend the morning at leisure in Florence, then later make your way back to Florence Airport
